Seen On The Scene: "Virtual London Fashion Week" by Elegancia

I made it to the Finesmith Designs show during Virtual London Fashion Week, and Federica Galtier of Elegancia put on an amazing show!  All of the models were mermaids/mermen frosted with Finesmith Designs jewelry.  P.S.  Mermaids are a royal pain in the butt to photograph, because of their stupid swimmy AOs (just FYI).  Here are the 5 usable shots that I was able to salvage from the 30 or so unusable shots of nothing but fin.  =P

On The Hunt: "Finesmith Designs June Hunt"

So I finally got around to doing the "Finesmith Designs June Hunt" that started Friday, and I had a blast!  21 boxes are hidden in the main store and its surrounding shops, each for sale between 0L and 200L.  You must be a member of the Finesmith Designs group to play, but with about L$2000 and a little luck you can nab approximately 15K worth of items...many of them made exclusively for this hunt!  As if that weren't enough, a styling contest will be held during the first week in July, with the 1st place winner receiving L$5000 cash and a L$1000 gift card to Finesmith Designs.  See below for the official hunt hints:

Seen On The Scene: "PROTOTYPE" by Maritima, Inc.

"PROTOTYPE" was the perfect fusion of [sYs] and Finesmith Designs, heavily infused with a futuristic military theme.  The set was absolutely stunning, complete with a VIP lounge for the designers and teleporters to beam the models from the runway to their backstage prep area.  Rex Requiem and I were soldiers, tasked with greeting and protecting the civilians from any dangers that might befall them.  =P  On a random side note, today was Blue Porchers' RL birthday!  YAY!!!

The Bleeding Edge: "March & April Inspiration," Part 1 by Finesmith Designs

I must admit...going up against Rusalka in the finals for Finesmith Muse intimidates the crap out of me.  She's always sooooo elegant and breathtaking (just like Rissa).  However, I play to win, and I love a good challenge, hahaha.  Here's a headshot featuring Rusalka's Inspiration set...brilliant tulips blooming in fun spring colors.

"Inspired by Jamee"

Jamee's set has a very tribal quality to it, with a repeated circular sun motif.  You really MUST view this shot full screen to appreciate the intricate details present in the headdress, necklace, and skirt.  The pose I'm using to drift through space here is from Body Talking's "Silent Mermaid" set, with 100% of the proceeds going to The Water Project, a charity focused on bringing clean water to Africa and India.

The Bleeding Edge: "Rissa Delicate" by Finesmith Designs

Within the next week, Yula Finesmith of Finesmith Designs will release several sets inspired by Rissa Friller, Miss Finesmith Stylista 2011.  The set pictured below, "Rissa Delicate," contains an eye ornament, collar, bracelets, necklace (not pictured), and earrings (not pictured).  As with all jewelry from Finesmith Designs, "Rissa Delicate" includes a color and texture change menu that provides the user with TONS of options for customization.  Below I paired "Rissa Delicate" with "Lord Gear," a steampunk formal suit designed by Lexi Vargas of Brocade Tiger exclusively for SL Art Couture's Claim The Fame project.  Enjoy!
